CINEMA : THEN AND NOW
4:44 PMIndia Film Project
Cinema has been more like a living
thing, a prospect of a person's life. Every picture in there gets into another
person life as its own and embraces his feelings in a moment of magic. Whatever
cinema portrays; good, bad, evil, sacred et cetra is felt for real as it is
taken up from living life incidences. This shows that reel life and real life
are so much inclined towards each other. They both are differences that
compliments.
The cinema before eons was much into the
deeper thoughts of relationships, fighting, villains, fight for the triumph et
cetra. It still is very much there, but today's directors and script writers
try to give a meaning to the film. As we see these days about how much the real
life occurrences impels the directors to draw out some light on the topic and bring out
the murky as well as the luminous side of it. Those films, i bet do better. May
be not in terms of money I agree, but the impact they leave on the people's
mindset is far more rooted than any other Bollywood masala flick.
The taste of people en routing cinema
has been very creatively abstract. New techniques, different genres,
outstanding scripts have been brought into the silver screen. And that is a
very remarkable development Indian cinema which must be noted down. Ship of Theseus
is a very accurate example here.
Overall the perception towards the
future Indian cinema looks propitious. We may get to see more of Indian films
shining all over the world with a lot more better responses.
