By the success of AFP 2011 we knew that the buzz was created and now it was time to make it louder.
Ahmedabad Film Project 2012 started on a high note, with more than 1500 participants from all across India. The theme,’Ingredients of Good Living’ was announced in the opening ceremony on September 28th 2012 by none other than Mr. Shoojit Sircar. The teams then completed the shoot in next 48 hours, in and around Ahmedabad. Films were then judged by the jury comprising of eminent film personalities Mr. Vikramaditya Motwane, Mr. Rajesh Mapuskar and Mr. Komal Nahata. The award ceremony saw more than 1000 participants for the screening of the winning films along with the jury members.
The edition also saw few additions apart from movie making competition. A 5-day long film festival showcasing Hollywood classics, Workshop on Film Making for Amateurs, Panel Discussion on ‘Non-Conventional Ways of Marketing’ and Exhibition of 100 Golden Frames representing 100 years if Indian Cinema.
With the conclusion of AFP 2012 we knew that we have conquered a new peak, but as we know with every accomplishment come new responsibilities and new challenges. So we promised ourselves that it in the year 2013 we will attain new heights and come up with some new magic to mesmerize you all.
